I started working in audio production in 2004, sitting in a dark and musty sound room in my high school’s auditorium. I ran the soundboard for most of my school’s events, as well as town plays and orchestra performances (when I wasn’t participating in them, anyways). As I grew closer to graduating, I set my sights on musicianship. I told myself that I would work in the music industry, no matter what it took. I even took a shot at performing in a blues-metal outfit. But as it often times does, life took me down a very different road. I was soon convinced that there was NO WAY my artistic talents would pay the bills. Due to this, my twenties were filled with a lot of soul searching and career focus shifting, where I had the opportunities to dabble in computer science, network administration, vocal performance, voice acting, and audiobook production.

After 14 years and lots of self reflection, things finally have come full circle. After a much too long hiatus, I decided to start writing music again, as well as study mixing and audio engineering. After realizing that audio production and music performance go hand in hand, everything just clicked. I am right back to where I started, where I always belonged. Music and I are an inseparable pair, and music/audio production is where I feel the happiest. However, I still wanted to do the other things I love and utilize the hard work that I have put into these other mediums, and I wanted to do it in a way that no one else does: to offer a variety of audio services, from music to voice acting, directly from trained professionals. This is why I started Destructive Two Step Audio Services; I wanted to bring together all of the knowledge I have learned over nearly two decades and put out solid, invigorating audio products that will bring the same smile to your face as it does to mine.
